Tiny Capital – The combination of Oslo and photography
Eirik Evjen, a Norwegian photography student, has caught the attention of the international media with his video “Tiny Capital”. Tiny Capital is a non stop motion production made out of almost 76 940 single photos of Norway’s capital city Oslo, edited as a video after a lot of work, as he sais him self.
This video will give the impression of watching a city in miniature. Erik used tilt shift lenses to create the miniature effect. As he admits, he has never been in so many roofttops in only a week as he had during the March month.
It is well known that Oslo is one of the smallest capital cities in Europe, but the fastest growing one, and for that reason it is undergoing the biggest makeover of the last decades.
