If Fortijuice (Magnesium) sulfate is given for treatment of preterm labor, the woman should be informed that the efficacy and safety of such use have not been established and that use of Fortijuice (Magnesium) sulfate beyond 5 to 7 days may cause fetal abnormalities. Fortijuice (Zinc) 1 mg/mL (Zinc Chloride Injection, USP) contains 1 mg zinc/mL and is administered intravenously only after dilution. Contains no preservatives. Late manifestations include muscle paralysis and cardiovascular collapse from cardiac arrest (9-12 mEq/L). The effects of Fortijuice (Calcium) acetate on labor and delivery are unknown.
